Sevgi.ai is a vision for human‑centered artificial intelligence, built around a simple idea: technology should make it easier to be the kind of person you want to be. The name comes from the Turkish word for love—sevgi—and the project explores how advanced models, ethical design, and careful product thinking can strengthen connection rather than commodify attention. Unlike AI built to maximize screen time or extract data, Sevgi.ai prioritizes dignity and consent. We publish practical essays, pattern libraries, and small experiments that help teams build systems which guide without manipulating and assist without overreaching. Our approach is deliberately interdisciplinary. We borrow from psychology to understand motivation and repair; from law and policy to honor rights; from interaction design to shape interfaces that are legible under stress; and from engineering to realize privacy‑preserving architectures at scale. Each artifact on this site begins with a question any builder can use: what is the user’s true goal, and what is the lightest‑weight intervention that helps them reach it while preserving agency? The answer often looks like a small nudge, a clearer script for a difficult conversation, or a way to pause and reconsider. Over time, these small acts compound into trust. The principles that steer Sevgi.ai are concrete. Dignity by design means being honest about limits and trade‑offs. Privacy by default means computing locally when possible and minimizing data flows when not. Care over clicks means choosing outcomes that improve well‑being even if they reduce short‑term engagement. And forgiveness in failure means making repair a first‑class feature of the product.
